Review Questions that have multiple answers

The Family Feud PowerPoint board (click here) works in this way:

* Insert your answers to the board and keep track of which answers are under which numbers.

* When playing, click yellow number box to reveal an answer.

* Click the X in the upper right corner to activate a strike.

* Click the gray box under the points to flip through the numbers to keep score.

* Click the Family Feud logo in the upper left corner to stop the game.

All slides within this PowerPoint template can be edited, which makes it usable for any class and any concept.  Great review game.

Directions

1. Divide the class into two teams.

2. One member of each team faces the other in a face-off as the teacher reads the question for the game board.

3. The team that "buzzed" in first gives an answer.

A. If the answer is on the board, the answer is revealed.  If it is the most popular (#1 on the board), then that team

wins the toss-up and must decide if they want to play or pass.  If it is not the most popular answer, then the other

team has a chance to give an answer that is higher.  Whichever team that has the more popular answer wins

control over the board and must decide if they want to play or pass.

B. If the answer is not on the board, the other team member in the face-off gives an answer.  If the answer is on the

board, that team wins the toss-up and must decide if they want to play or pass.

C. If neither face-off player gives an answer that is on the board, the answer goes to the team members – alternate

back and forth until someone give a correct answer.

4. The team that has the control of the board tries to reveal all of the correct answers to the question before

receiving three strikes. Each wrong answer receives a strike.

5. If the team receives three strikes without clearing the board, control is passed to the other team.

6. The team that now has control must give an answer they believe is on the board.

A. If the answer is on the board, all points are added to the team’s score.

B. If the answer is not on the board, all points are added to the other team’s score.

7. Teams receive points per board (not per question)

8. Continue the game repeating steps two through seven.

9. Each team tries to collect the most points. The team with the most points wins the game!
